We are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new business generation through outbound effort. This is a pure hunter role - seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
Who you are: To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, prospecting tools and other lists. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers. If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
What else you should know:The position is 100% remote - we do get together as a team every quarter.
Our primary target market is selling our technical solution to IT leaders.

What you will be doing:

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, linkedin and emails.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Present our company and product to potential clients.
  • Demonstrate Cinchy to clients at trade shows.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between potential clients and Account Executives.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and industry trends.

What you bring - Don’t worry if you don’t have all these things, we believe in investing in personal growth and can coach you to be successful:

  • Previous work experience as a Business Development Representative
  • Hands-on experience doing high volume prospecting for new opportunities using a variety of communication channels (Phone, Email, Social, etc...)
  • Experience with sales-related software (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with GSuite products
  • Experience writing prospecting emails is viewed as an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrate software
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Resilience
Key Results (things we will measure success):
After 30 Days:
Complete onboarding and training program.
Understand Cinchy's product offerings and value propositions.
Initiate outreach to prospects and begin building a pipeline.
After 60 Days:
Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly outreach and qualification targets.
Successfully schedule and confirm meetings for the sales team.
Contribute insights for refining lead generation strategies.
After 90 Days:
Independently manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Cinchy's competitive landscape.
Collaborate effectively with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
Our Hiring Process:
Talent Screen: You will initially meet (online) with someone from our Talent team. (30 minutes)
Technical Fit: (60-90 minutes)
Team Fit: We then have a values fit interview with someone on the team and one of our senior leaders. (60 minutes)
