Job Description
Concourse Labs is currently seeking Software Engineers for our front-end development team to design, develop, test, and maintain application, UI, and API capabilities. The successful candidate will:
- Join a team of engineers as they build, deploy, and support systems that provide services to enterprise cloud customers
- authoring and consumption of REST and GraphQL services
- building UI/UX controls and components
- writing tests for new and existing features
- authoring self documenting services
- Work closely with partners across the business to overcome challenges with innovative problem solving and technical solutions
- Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize, design, and deliver key product enhancements to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure the successful deployment and operation of the platform
- Help make informed decisions and trade-offs by being the domain professional for a variety of technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to formulate road maps and plans that align technology goals with business objectives
Qualifications
- UI/UX and API development experience
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a distributed environment
- Strong personal commitment to quality, customer service, follow-through, and continual learning
- Demonstrated, adept problem-solving with a systematic and methodical investigative approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to design and develop code to ingest customer and other 3rd party data, both static and operational in nature
- Demonstrated delivery of scalable policy management
- Demonstrated delivery of customer and ecosystem data modeling and persistence
- Experienced in and energized by agile work environment - adaptive and flexible; highly transparent and collaborative
- Experienced in multiple cloud and orchestration platforms
- Self-managing - ability to turn independent and collaborative R&D into new product capabilities, proactively evaluate and select technologies, accurately estimate and predictability deliver
- Quality and Delivery Ownership - adopt quality and security by design best practices; willingness to test their own software and review that of peers
Technical Skills & Experience Required
- Application development skills:
- Node.Js development (Express, Fastify, NestJS, Apollo GraphQL)
- Front-end development (Angular)
- Microservice or “API-first” design (REST, GraphQL)
- Database experience, through actual information-architecture planning and use:
- SQL (query literacy);
- Database (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) setup and administration;
- Cloud-native programming:
- Containers and container orchestration (k8s, docker)
- CSP management and use (AWS/EKS, Azure/AKS, GCP/GKE)

This position pays $140K-$180K (depending on experience) + stock options
