What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Professional Services Engineer to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Customer consultation to determine outcomes, success criteria and challenges/gaps. Develop and implement plans of action to close gaps and drive successful outcomes.
- Administer and mature customer enterprise deployment of the Forescout solution.
- Interface with Forescout Support and/or R&D to resolve technical issues that may impede success.
- Define and create polices in accordance with customer’s business requirements.
- Manage equipment installation and configuration at all locations, to include lab environments.
- Manage Forescout software and hardware upgrades.
- Manage of the ForeScout solution in accordance with the customer’s business goals.
- Create customer reports to achieve project alignment and unity of effort.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, intellectual property, and training material.
What You Bring to Forescout

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of technical professional services experience in a customer-facing role.
- Have a ForeScout Certified Administrator (FSCA) or ForeScout Certified Engineer (FSCE).
- Must have a current/active Top Secret, or TS/SCI Clearance.
- Hands-on experience with Forescout solutions.
- Strong experience in network troubleshooting and configuration.
- Linux O/S installation, security configuration, and management.
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems.
- Virtualization environments for both desktop and server deployments.
- Working knowledge of industry security standards, procedures and technologies.
- Ability to constructively handle and address customer concerns through explanation or management escalation.
- Experience in US federal government environments.
- A self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to work independently in a mix of workplace environments including large enterprise, commercial, and military/government agency customers.
- Experience installing, managing, and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple technologies.
- Experience / certifications in multiple leading IT security, network, IoT and/or OT technologies.
- Consultative experience designing and advocating for best-practice solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with network hardware configuration.
- 3 years of significant experience with Windows based operating systems and Unix systems, specifically Linux.
- Expertise deploying large scale enterprise deployments/data centers.
- Experience deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems and virtual systems.
- Experience implementing complicated software products that involve multiple components.
- Ability to clearly document complicated steps and procedures.
- Excellent communications skills, strong customer orientation, good organizational skills, self-driven with ability to multi-task on various projects and aptitude to learn new technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in demanding and challenging environments.
- Live within 45 minutes of a major regional airport (US based) with approximately 40% travel.
- Working knowledge of shell, perl and xml scripting a plus.
- Design and architecture experience a plus.
- Technical support experience a plus.
- CISSP and/or PMP certification a plus.
