We are seeking a strong and motivated Sr. QA engineer to join our multicultural, creative and fast-paced team in Eindhoven. As Sr. QA engineer for our cloud solutions, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and executing software quality assurance processes and test cases, and collaborate with our software engineers, product owners, product managers and engineering leadership to define SMART quality goals, plans to measure and achieve them, and ultimately guarantee the overall quality of the solutions we deliver to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Define, implement and execute quality assurance strategies and test cases
Develop automated test scenarios based on product specifications provided by product and engineering teams.
Participate in the software validation phase implementing automated and manual test cases to ensure absolute quality of product releases.
Troubleshoot validation pipeline issues and report and document the defects found.
Lead resolution processes of customer escalations.
You will be involved in the continuous improvement process: proactive approach is a key element for this role.

What You Offer Forescout:

Professional skills:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Strong, multi-year experience in a QA role for SaaS applications with understanding of how to reliably release frequently.
Solid and extensive experience (8+ years) in software product validation and testing.
Proven ability to conceptualize metrics and SMART product quality goals.
Experience with stakeholder management across different levels of the organization.
Experience coordinating work with multiple squads/scrum teams.
Strong test automation knowledge, spanning across multiple frameworks and techniques.
Experience with a leading cloud vendor (Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS).
Understanding of networking and network security is a plus.

Personal skills:

Team player, experienced in working with global teams in a Scrum/Agile teams.
High degree of independence, ownership, and responsibility.
Leadership experience is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven analytic and troubleshooting skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
