Compensation Range: $100,000 to $110,000 base plus bonus and equity

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a seasoned copywriter to join our creative and productive content team! This individual will support a critical function for Huntress: ensuring our external messaging, thought leadership tracks and marketing campaigns are fueled by punchy, interesting, and actionable copy.

You’ll work cross-functionally across several channels and teams—including web, blog, ads, social media, print collateral, and more. This person will be an expert at case study and blog strategies and writing, and know how to lead interviews to get the best story possible. You’ll master our brand voice and tone, ensuring that everything we produce lives up to our brand standards and showcases the unique ways that our company delivers cybersecurity to the 99%.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic and creative link between product marketing, SEO experts, copywriters, and visual designers to plan and develop compelling content that inspires action.
  • Concept and develop copy for long-form digital initiatives, including blog posts, website copy, awards submissions, case studies, ebooks, social posts, white papers, research reports, video scripts, and anything that raises product-specific content into a brand story.
  • Brainstorm and conceptualize forward-thinking ideas and ways to express the brand via creative copywriting, and content creation.
  • Assess, refine, and evolve the content needs of campaigns and ongoing programs.
  • Adhere to and update the in-house style guide and content creation processes.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 4+ years of digital copywriting and/or marketing writing experience required
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, editing, and grammar skills
  • A deep understanding of SEO, content optimization, and content and inbound marketing best practices
  • Versatility and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to write with consistent quality, brand voice, tone, and style
  • Ability to translate highly technical products and concepts into clear, compelling, concise, action-oriented copy with a proven ability to write for integrated marketing campaigns
  • You successfully manage competing priorities
  • Highly creative thinker who can collaborate with peers and copywriters on creating compelling stories that leave a lasting impression
  • Effective communicator who can take high-level direction, articulate copy decisions, and incorporate feedback into stories
  • Ability to execute edits quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is necessary
  • Energetic, transparent team player who is self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, and thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Established track record of consistent delivery and meeting or exceeding deadlines
  • Cyber security experience is strongly preferred
