What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 4M+ endpoints and 7M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed, and dynamic leader to build and manage our Solution Engineering team for the ANZ region.

As the Manager, Sales Engineering, you will be a "player-coach" responsible for leading a team of highly skilled sales engineers. You are the key technical partner to the ANZ Sales Director, jointly responsible for developing the technical sales strategy to drive revenue growth and customer success.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and exceptional people leadership. You will be instrumental in coaching your team, refining our sales processes, and personally engaging in strategic, high-stakes deals. If you are passionate about building high-performing teams, evangelizing cutting-edge technology, and winning in a competitive market, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor a world-class team of Sales Engineers in the ANZ region
  • Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and career development guidance to the team members
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous learning
  • Partner closely with the ANZ Sales Director and Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts and territories
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product, the competitive landscape, and our customers' industries
  • Ensure the team effectively qualifies opportunities and removes all technical objections in the sales cycle

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect) within the B2B SaaS or enterprise software industry
  • 3+ years of formal experience managing and leading a sales engineering team
  • A track record of hiring and developing exceptional talent
  • An inspiring "player-coach" mentality with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and C-level business audiences
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Value Selling)
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks
  • Experience working with or within MSPs, VARs, and Distributors

What We Offer:

  • Fully remote work
  • At least one annual trip to the US for Summer Summit, with additional local events in Australia!
  • New starter home office set up reimbursement ($800 AUD)
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers
  • Digital monthly reimbursement ($185 AUD)
  • Subsidised private health insurance through our preferred provider
  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth
