We are hiring a People Operations and Talent Specialist to support our People team during a period of high growth. This temp to perm position will be critical in supporting the operational facets of our people function, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate and employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be a fast-paced, detail oriented self-starter who is passionate about making an impact and creating incredible experiences for our remote team. We are looking for someone who deeply loves communicating with people and supporting employees to find joy at work.

WHAT YOU'll DO

Recruiting Support:

  • In partnership with the People team, support all aspects of the recruiting process including but not limited to managing posting workflow, application review, candidate communications, disposition, sourcing, building talent pipelines, candidate feedback, talent screening, drafting offer letters, and supporting the offer process.

Onboarding and New Hire Support:

  • Map and own and the onboarding process.
  • Support onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
  • Process all new hires and ensure completeness of requirements and documentation (Form I-9, background checks, employment agreements, etc.)
  • Partner with IT to ensure all equipment is ordered and delivered on time, ensuring a positive new hire experience. Manage issues as they arise and maintain direct communication with new hires at all times.

Off-boarding:

  • Manage the off-boarding process for departing employees, including scheduling exit interviews with the People team, managing tasks in Jira, deprovisioning accounts, etc.
  • Process termination workflow and update internal records accordingly.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure the timely deactivation of access and collect company property, if applicable.

Events Management / Employee Experience:

  • Support and actively participate in the planning and execution of company events including Hyperproof Unite and regional meet-ups and remote events for our team.
  • Participate in and help to coordinate cultural events including those sponsored by the culture committee.

HRIS / Benefits Administration:

  • Input, maintain, file, and report on employee data as requested by the People team. This includes new hires, pay and status changes, org chart maintenance, terminations, verification of employment requests, etc.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure data integrity in systems.
  • Reporting, basic data analysis, etc.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for first-level benefits inquiries leveraging Broker relationships.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to People Ops function as needed.
  • Assist in special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • In partnership with the Marketing team, promote People-related initiatives on social media platforms.
  • Support HR vendors, inquiries and requests for information

HOW YOU’LL KNOW YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL

  • Candidate and new hire feedback will reflect strong attention to detail and customer first attitude.
  • Documents will be professional, polished in presentation and free of errors / typos.
  • Recruitment metrics will improve following ramp (time to review, time spent in each stage, etc).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Required: Initiative, drive, curiosity and strong people-first mindset
  • 1-2 years of related experience (including HR/recruiting internships)
  • HR degree or demonstrated interest in the HR field strongly preferred

  • We are a fully remote company! Rather than restrict ourselves to only finding talent in one city, we’d rather find the absolute best people regardless of where they live.

  • We value your time and want you to know what to expect from us. For this interview, we expect to ask you to participate in 2 interview and expect this to be completed in 3 hours over 2 weeks.

The full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications.
