Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Global Financial Strategy: Assist in Implementing global financial strategies to support business growth and economic objectives. Align financial planning with organizational goals.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and consolidate global financial reports, financial statements, accounts payable, and receivable, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission to senior management and stakeholders, along with implementing cost control measures and internal controls.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting for global operations by monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts, tracking budget vs. actuals on a monthly basis, and providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with international operations. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, standards, and internal controls. Support annual audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Provide support in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with senior management and business units to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Communicate financial performance, trends, and strategies effectively.
Support in Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance financial performance.
Engage in discussions with customers, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, while ensuring payables are under control. Possess strong knowledge of invoicing, tracking, and preparing reports on receivables, payables, and other financial metrics. Work with SaaS software to manage general ledger preparation, sanitize and enter financial transactions, and present SaaS metrics to assess company health, utilizing data analysis.
Qualifications:
Education: Postgraduate degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in global financial management, strategic planning, and financial reporting preferably from a SaaS-based company
Certifications: CA or equivalent professional certifications preferred.
