About the Role
As an SDR at Lumu, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth—identifying prospects and creating opportunities via outbound activity. You’ll support a remote sales team to develop account strategies, target ideal customers, and turn interest into impact.
What You’ll Do
- Drive outbound prospecting via cold calls, email, and social media.
- Qualify inbound leads to determine fit and readiness.
- Set qualified meetings for the sales team and support opportunity creation.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM.
- Partner with Marketing on targeted inbound campaigns.
- Stay sharp on industry trends and threats to guide smarter outreach.
- Consistently hit—and aim to exceed—monthly KPIs for meetings attended.
- Represent Lumu at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
What You Bring
- A natural curiosity and drive to learn
- Confidence in reaching out and speaking with IT and cybersecurity leaders
- Discipline to manage time, stay organized, and meet goals
- A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
- 1–2 years in a sales or lead generation role (B2B SaaS or tech preferred)
- Comfortable cold calling, emailing, and using sales tools like Outreach, Gong, Salesforce
Bonus Points For
- Cybersecurity or technical sales experience
- Familiarity with tools like Zoho, Outplay, or other CRM platforms
- Experience selling into public sector or SLED markets
