Technical Account Manager (US)

  • Customer Success
  • USA, Central Region

Description

Location: Remote - USA, Central Region (working West Coast hours)

Noname Security, founded in 2020, is rapidly growing with more than 200 team members globally, and only a year out of stealth, the company is the first API Security Unicorn, at $1B valuation and $220M in total financing. Noname Security is also one of the fastest growing cybersecurity companies ever. Our mission is to reduce the risk of API security vulnerabilities and cyber-attacks. Our API Security Platform is an out-of-band solution that doesn’t require agents or network modifications and offers deeper visibility and security than API gateways, load balancers, and WAFs. No one addresses the API security challenge like Noname.

Technical Account Managers (TAMs) or Technical Customer Success Managers (TCSMs) work directly with customers to understand and address their greatest needs in API Security, implementing Noname solutions for maximum impact. Our customers rely on Noname’s platform for some of their most critical infrastructure, and are interested in questions like “How do we secure all those APIs we have?” or “What is the best way to proactively mitigate attacks before they happen?”. As a TAM, you’ll apply your problem-solving ability, customer empathy, creative thinking, and technical skills to help organizations map their APIs, assess their exposure, and mitigate those, driving a real impact for our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to access some of the world’s most complicated, forward-looking customer environments across a wide range of industries and institutions.

We work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high stakes projects. Your days include establishing value measurements to executive reports, presenting findings to Application Development experts, or training a new member of our team. Your work will ensure that goals and milestones are being met for each customer. When technical obstacles arise, you will employ a strong knowledge of APIs, Security, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure to drive the successful adoption of the Noname platform.

Whether you aspire to be a customer-facing leader or a technical leader, we believe Noname would stretch you to the next level of your journey — with the best colleagues — to learn how. You’ll learn how to solve complex technical and business problems, assess alternatives, costs and consequences of various solutions, and present those to stakeholders. You’ll learn new technologies and cloud stacks, and run presentations to CISO-level audiences. You’ll work autonomously and make many decisions independently, within a team that supports and challenges you as you grow and develop.
