As our first Principal Engineer, you will own the technical direction of our platform as we scale.

What will you do

Own architecture decisions and long-term system design
Solve our hardest technical problems
Set engineering standards and drive technical quality across the codebase
Lead design reviews and be the tie-breaker on complex technical trade-offs
Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical bar of the team
Partner with the VP Engineering on balancing technical excellence with delivery speed

Who you are

8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in system design
Track record of owning architecture for products at scale
Experience working in fast-moving startups (Series A/B preferred)
Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and technical standards
Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams

Bonus points for:

Experience with LLM-based products or AI systems
Cybersecurity or security tooling background
Python and distributed systems expertise
