We’re searching for an experienced Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the strategic marketing initiatives for our groundbreaking products.
Position Overview
As a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager at Rafay, you’ll be instrumental in driving the development and execution of strategic marketing plans focused on positioning our cloud automation solutions in the market. This role requires a seasoned professional with a high clock speed and a deep understanding of technical infrastructure technologies with the ability to craft compelling narratives for technical and business audiences alike.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with sales teams and enablement to equip them with the necessary technical knowledge, tools, and resources needed to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to prospects and customers.
Lead the creation of impactful and technical marketing collateral, such as detailed technical datasheets, solution briefs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, interactive demos, web content, and blog posts, ensuring alignment with market needs and value propositions.
Collaborate closely with the product management team to deeply understand the technical intricacies of our products, roadmap, and competitive landscape, translating them into compelling value propositions and differentiators.
Provide strategic direction and mentorship to marketing, ensuring alignment on messaging, content creation, and campaign execution to support demand generation for the technical platform engineering personas we target.
Conduct research to inform go-to-market planning for our cloud automation solutions, including market analysis, competitive positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies. Identify target markets, pain points, and emerging trends, influencing product development and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with teams leading our channel and cloud platform partnerships to create bespoke messaging and content, and support joint events and other marketing initiatives to drive strategic business development.
Serve as a subject matter expert for sales, marketing, and product teams on the day-to-day needs and pain points experienced platform engineers, as well as the ways in which Rafay can serve to address those needs.
Comfortably lead presentations, technical conversations, and product demonstrations with customers and prospects at events (in-person or virtual) or sales meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of progressive experience in technical product marketing or related fields within the B2B IT software industry, demonstrating expertise in IT or cloud infrastructure, cloud automation, or related technical domains. Startup / SaaS experience preferred.
Exceptional technical acumen with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts related to Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and automation to diverse audiences.
Proven experience creating impactful technical marketing content, including datasheets, whitepapers, blogs, demos, and presentations.
Strong data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills to derive actionable insights from market data and campaign metrics.
Outstanding leadership, collaboration, and project management abilities, with a proven track record of working well within high performance cross-functional teams and driving results across multiple fronts simultaneously.
