Rafay is seeking a high performing, problem solver and innovator to join our growing Customer Success team as a Technical Account Manager (TAM). As a Rafay TAM you will provide world-class support post-sale to the Rafay customers. You will professionally interact with customers to resolve their highest priority challenges/ issues across cloud native technologies and integrations while driving product adoption. The Rafay TAM owns the post-sale technical relationship with the customer and ensures Rafay products are deployed in a manageable and supportable way, while ensuring the customer is getting the most out of their investment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking, public cloud, and virtualization platforms. You will work closely with the Rafay Support and Engineering teams to deliver solutions to complex issues, all the while delivering best in class support to our customers. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the CNCF technology landscape, and ability to quickly learn new technologies and solutions.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure


  • Strong program/ project management skills, process driven and has ability to plan and execute specific outcomes.
  • Engage and collaborate with Directors and C-Level executives to understand business and mission needs and advocate for those needs within Rafay or recommend Rafay products to customers
  • Owns & build on customer relationship, and plays a key role in driving renewals and expansion/ new opportunities
  • Advise and interact with internal Support, Delivery Teams, and Product to strategically scope technology solutions for optimal implementation.
  • Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed to address customer initiatives
  • Assist in design/architecture of cloud, hybrid cloud, and kubernetes / container solutions
  • Leverage knowledge of customer environments to assist support engineers and service teams in better serving customers.
  • Make recommendations on how new Rafay features/ offerings fit in the customer’s architecture
  • Participate in customer requested meetings remotely (online) or on-site
  • Know and use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns.
  • Be mobile and travel to client locations as needed (~10%) on need bases


  • 10+ years IT/Technical industry experience
  • Experience with cloud service offerings (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP etc.)
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers preferred
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Strong written communication skills; this role will require the creation of content such as whitepapers, executive presentations and other written deliverables
  • High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Exceptional customer focus and bias for action
  • Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Computer Science background highly desired, working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desire
  • Preferred certifications are PMP, AWS Solution Architect Associate or similar, CKA or similar

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
