While we are headquartered in stunning San Francisco, this is a remote position. Role Overview: Open Source Developer Relations
We are passionate about supporting open source and are seeking a consultant to help us deliver 2 projects for the benefit of the open source community:
- We would love help designing, delivering, and maintaining our Free Open Source Edition Project allowing free access for open source contributors. The intention is for open source contributors to use our technology to deliver smaller, safer, faster open source containers for the benefit of all. .
- Security is everybody’s problem, and we are intending to make Hardened Containers of popular open source technologies available for free download. Less code. Less problems. For everyone.
- We are looking for a smart and experienced developer relations executive to help us structure, define, deliver, and execute on the two projects above.
- Experience designing or delivering developer relations outreach programs.
- 4+ years of general marketing experience in CyberSecurity SAAS, cloud, or CI/CD.
- 2+ years of enterprise product marketing experience is a firm requirement.
- Proven product marketing skills including market segmentation, message development, and delivery.
- Familiarity with open source technologies and culture a big plus
- Relationships, contributions to, or previous experience in the open source community a big plus
- Has attention to detail, takes time to understand requirements, and carefully craft deliverables documents that are well written, well-formatted, error-free, and suitable for our world-class partners.

- Ownership of all developer relations outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to define and deliver the two projects above, a third project is possible upon success of the initial two..
- Prepare, manage and monitor developer outreach plan.
- Prepare high-quality with well-structured presentations and supporting collaterals.
