About the job

As a Software Engineer on the TruEra platform team, you will be building and managing a scalable and highly available microservice platform, AI/ML infrastructure ecosystems. We're developing the platform for both public and private cloud environments with the container as first-class citizens. Infrastructure is at the core of our platform, and we're constantly innovating to make our systems more performant, timely, cost-effective, and capable while maintaining high reliability. You'll be a key part of the development of our core data and ML infrastructure and pipelines.

What You Will be Doing:

Develop key platform features
Collaborate with ML Engineers, Frontend Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver new Platform capability
Participate in early customer engagements and PoCs
Review design and code, and make sure what we ship is awesome
“Create what’s not there”

Prior Experience:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years of industry experience
Experience with Java / Scala is preferred
Passion for delivering products end-to-end, from ideation through planning and scoping to implementation
Experience or desire to work on machine learning systems
Solid background in the fundamentals of computer science and distributed systems
Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with design, product, data science, and infrastructure teams
Experience in containerized deployment or Kubernetes
Advocate for the continuous deployment and automation tools, monitoring, and self-healing systems
Great communication skills and a team player

Nice-To-Haves:

Experience building machine learning models or ecosystems
Having been a part of an engineering team at an early stage startup
